Susan Wojciechowski uses as the inspiration for these eggs over 30 years ago when her daughter spent part of her summers attending a Polish cultural school.  She had learned about Polish history, customs, music, dance and folk art that developed an appreciations for her ethnic heritage. Parents were encouraged to participate with art and other projects.  This was her first exposure to the Polish art of egg decorating known a Pisanki and Susan fell in love with it immediately.
